Creative Spaces & a Fabulous Friday Giveaway!
I love peeking into other people's studios or creative spaces! From the tiniest corner in the dining room to an expansive loft dedicated to artsy/crafty pursuits, I'm equally intrigued by them all! Imagine my delight when I discovered the party taking place over at My Desert Cottage - Where Bloggers Create II! As indicated by the II, this is the second year that the intrepid Karen Valentine has hosted this event, and you don't want to miss it! Hundreds of bloggers have posted links to their blogs and photos of their personal art spaces. I was too late to add my own artsy/crafty chaos to the fray, but I'm thrilled to be able to join in by visiting all the amazing bloggers who attended the party! Just click on the link above or in the sidebar to get a gander at all the gorgeousness!
The party was featured in one of my very favorite magazines ever Where Women Create, a publication dedicated to sharing the wide variety of places where women find time and space to nourish their creativity. The magazine is published quarterly, and when it arrives on my doorstep I can't wait to peruse every page again and again! I'm so inspired by the beautiful photos of each and every space, whether large or small, and by the stories of each and every amazing woman who recognizes the need to express herself in a tangible way. I was delighted to discover that some of my favorite artists create wonderful works of art in their living rooms! No fancy studio required! Where Women Create celebrates the creative life and the women who pursue their passions while balancing family life, work, and everyday obligations. Want the latest copy for yourself? Well, I'm giving one away! Just leave a comment on this post, now through June 30th. On Friday, July 2nd, I'll anounce the winner! Only one post person please!
In the meantime, enjoy checking out all the fabulous spaces where bloggers & women create!

ReplyDeleteI am in the process of redoing the extra bedroom to be more of an inspirational room for me. Now all I have to do is convince my hubby that everything I put into the dining room WILL fit back into the craft room. hahaha Alice Roushia
ReplyDeleteI'm a dining room stamper - but I have a BIG cabinet in the kitchen that I keep my most used stamp supplies so they will be close by whenever inspiration strikes! LOVE this mag too - thanks for introducing me to it!
ReplyDeleteI have a table in my living room. If I keep it cleaned up it works just fine. I would just love the chance of winning the Where Women Create magazine.
ReplyDeleteI have my own space in the basement I designed and my husband built. I love having space to myself to scrap and stamp. I have my all my crafting supplies, computer and television in my room so I'm pretty set.
