Friday Findings: Where Women Cook

Where Women Cook, the newest magazine from Stampington & Company, landed on my doorstep yesterday afternoon! I've been anxiously awaiting this new publication for months now and I was so happy to receive the premier issue. That's Ree Drummond of Pioneer Woman fame gracing the cover with her trademark sassy style. If you haven't checked out her blog you're missing on out on tons of amazing recipes, gorgeous step by step photos, giveaways, and so much more! You'll also want to stop by her other site Tasty Kitchen, a cooking community featuring recipes from real kitchens everywhere - as the tagline states!
My husband, a.k.a. Chef Jones, does just about all the cooking around here, but I love the magazine for the same reason that I love its sister publication Where Women Create, because I'm nosy curious! I love to see the places where people follow their dreams, read about their creative journeys and inspirational stories, and just get a glimpse of their real lives.
I actually have two copies of Where Women Cook so...

I'm giving one away!

Just leave a comment on this post before midnight central time on Friday, 11/26/10.
The winner will be announced Saturday, 11/27/10
Best wishes to all the entrants!

  1. Oh, Yummy! What I wouldn't give for a 6 burner gas stove. I've got one of Lee's recipes on the blog. Oh, yeah...to die for.

Our youngest son cooks. The oldest married a fabulous cook. Their dad...nada, but that's ok 'cause I'd have to fight him for the space. Off to check out the links!

  5. Oh how I would love this magazine. You have no idea how difficult it is for us to get Sampington publications in the UK, and none of our own magazines are anywhere near this quality. Blessings

  6. Kim, I'd love to win that magazine. Hubby does most of the cooking, but that doesn't stop me from looking!

  7. Kim,
My son was reading over my shoulder and said, "where women cook?"
I corrected him (I thought), by saying "where women create". Then I did a double back to read and saw he was right. Oh boy, another tempting magazine. By the way, how did you get your hubby to cook? Now that would be a great magazine to read. ha
