Friday Findings

The word findings has lots of intriguing connotations. Findings are discoveries, treasures unearthed in the hidden nooks and crannies of antique shops or junk stores. Findings are the bits and pieces used to create jewelry, or the tools and materials used by artisans. Findings are the unexpected sources of inspiration revealed in a glossy magazine, glimpsed in nature, or posted on a blog stumbled upon by chance. These serendipitous tidbits bring even more delight when shared, so fridays are now Friday Findings Day on Serendipity Vintage Studio! I'm so excited to share with you my favorite discoveries of all sorts.
Today I want to feature juNxtaposition, the creative venture of artist Jeanne Cherry. I discovered her booth at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, OH and immediately fell in love with her artful vintage jewelry.
The booth was filled with delighted shoppers (including me!) oohing and aahing over the fabulous wares.
You can get a close up view of these bubble necklaces on the juNxtaposition website. And don't miss the rings, pendants, and bracelets made from typewriter keys. So adorable!

Hope you enjoyed the first installment of Friday Findings! Tune in next friday for more fabulous discoveries!
